Fa Cai Medal & Gold Medal Raffles Country Club 4th February 2010   Thirty seven members teed off at the Palm Course of Raffles Country Club on 4th February 2010 for the Fa Cai Medal and the Gold Medal Challenge for qualifiers. The weather was perfect for golf, and the stiff breeze that prevailed sometimes had undesirable effects on some shots.   The dry conditions promised a course that was going to play short, but the Palm Course proved otherwise. The hard greens contributed to the players frustrations, and good scores were not easy to come by.   Jared Lim took the A Div Best Gross with a score of 83, and Lee Chong Leong took the B Div Best Gross with a score of 89.   Ms Ng Lee Peng returned a net score of 67 to take the Gold Medal. (Seen here recieving her medal from Catherine Medway.)     The traditional Lo Hei preceeded the superb lunch prepared by the chefs at Sahnsui Palace at RCC.
