June Medal 4BBB Warren Golf & Country Club 17th June 2009   Forty-four members and guests joined us for the June medal at Warren Golf & Country Club on 17th June. This was the largest turnout we have had this year, and hope future medal games will continue to attract even larger numbers. The format of the game - 4BBB - seemed to be a hit, and we will certainly look into increasing the number of such games. The ladies were well represented, and made up one-third of the field. We hope this trend continues. We could not have asked for better golfing weather. Despite fears that slow play would disrupt the tournament, we are glad to see members making an extra effort to ensure a steady pace of play, with the flights taking 4 hours and 15 minutes for the eighteen holes. To all who made the effort, Thanks and Well Done! The three top teams had to be seperated by countback as they scored 47 points each..........RESULTS page has all the details..... 17JUN09
