CHRISTMAS MEDAL 2008 Raffles Country Club 15th December 2008 There is no better way to round up the golfing year  than a spectacular Christmas Medal at Raffles Country Club with Christmas gifts for all participants, Lucky draw prizes and Winners’ trophies. Despite a light drizzle throughout the entire 18-hole game, our 46 members and 12 guests faced the tough Palm Course head-on with high spirits. With some Christmas luck, there were no weather delays and all flights finished their game on schedule. Members then enjoyed a variety of lunch options that RCC offered for the day. Three of our members whose birthdays were in December celebrated with a birthday cake. The Committee would like to say thanks to our members for all their support of the medal games and for inviting 12 guests. This was the first time we had a guest division, complete with a prize for the winner and ball sweeps too. The Committee would also like to thank our kind sponsors, “Glynwed Pipes Systems Asia Pte Ltd” and “JJANG Collection Pte Ltd” for the Lucky draw prizes. No one went home empty handed.
